What to expect in 2027

Electrisize Festival 2027 will return to Haus Hohenbusch in Erkelenz, North Rhine-Westphalia, for its 18th edition. The festival is scheduled across three days and combines EDM, house, techno, hardstyle, party music and live performances with large-scale stage productions, fireworks and a broad selection of festival activities. The official 2027 information describes three festival days and four camping nights, with national and international artists from EDM, techno, hardstyle and the wider party scene expected to perform.

The festival has grown considerably since it began in 2009. Official history information records 55,000 visitors, more than 150 artists and more than eight stages for the 2026 edition, following 50,000 visitors and 150 artists across seven or more stages in 2025.

Electrisize is designed as more than a conventional electronic music festival. The 2026 festival layout included specialist stages for hardstyle, hard techno, house and party classics, alongside areas for wellness, food, relaxation and entertainment. The festival also features major visual productions, including an opening show, Saturday ceremony and closing show.

For 2027, the festival site will again be centered around the historic Haus Hohenbusch property in Erkelenz. Visitors can expect a combination of electronic music, festival camping, food and drink, chill-out spaces, entertainment areas and large-scale stage productions. The detailed artist programme and final stage configuration will be announced later.

Event dates

Electrisize Festival 2027 takes place from 6 to 8 August 2027 at Haus Hohenbusch in Erkelenz, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The official festival information gives the daily opening hours as 16:00 to 02:00 on Friday, 14:00 to 02:00 on Saturday and 14:00 to 23:30 on Sunday.

The official camping area opens for four nights, from Thursday, 5 August, through Monday, 9 August 2027. This makes camping a practical option for visitors who want to arrive before the main festival programme and remain on site after the final Sunday performances.

The 2027 age rules are also already published. Friday and Saturday are restricted to visitors aged 18 and over, with an official photo ID required at entry. On Sunday, visitors aged 16 and 17 may attend without an accompanying adult or parental authorization because the festival site closes before midnight.

Venue & festival site

Venue: Haus Hohenbusch
Location: 41812 Erkelenz, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Electrisize takes place around Haus Hohenbusch, a historic estate near Erkelenz. The venue provides a large outdoor setting where multiple festival stages, camping facilities, food areas, entertainment spaces and relaxation zones can be arranged across the site. The official navigation address is Haus Hohenbusch, 41812 Erkelenz.

The festival site is redesigned for each edition. This means the exact arrangement of stages and areas can change from one year to another, even when the principal stage concepts remain familiar. The 2026 festival featured more than eight stages and several dedicated activity areas, demonstrating the scale of the event.

Camping is located close to the festival grounds, helping visitors avoid long transfers between accommodation and the event. The camping area has free showers, sanitary facilities, paved paths, a supermarket open around the clock and other camping facilities.

Full lineup

The complete Electrisize 2027 lineup has not yet been announced. The official 2027 website currently confirms the festival dates and location while inviting visitors to join the pre-registration list for ticket information and future announcements.

The 2027 programme is expected to continue the festival’s established focus on electronic and party-oriented music. The official 2027 press information specifically identifies EDM, techno, hardstyle and the wider party scene as key musical areas.

Previous editions provide an indication of the scale of the programme. Electrisize 2025 featured 150 artists, including Brennan Heart, Cascada, Coone, Da Tweekaz, Dr. Peacock, Fast Boy, Miss K8, Paul Elstak, Ran-D, Rooler and many other electronic, hardstyle and party acts.

These previous artists should not be treated as confirmed performers for 2027. The official 2027 artist announcement will determine the final lineup.

Headliners & featured artists

No Electrisize 2027 headliners have been officially confirmed yet. Visitors should therefore avoid treating previous performers as part of the 2027 programme until the festival publishes the new artist announcement.

Electrisize has historically combined internationally recognized electronic artists with German and European DJs, hardstyle specialists, techno performers and party-oriented acts. Past editions have included artists such as Brennan Heart, Da Tweekaz, Coone, Miss K8, Paul Elstak, Ran-D, Rooler, Cascada and Fast Boy.

The festival’s programming is not limited to one electronic subgenre. The different stages allow visitors to move between mainstream EDM, house, hardstyle, rawstyle, uptempo, hard techno, hard groove, party classics and other sounds during the same weekend.

Stages & performance areas

Mainstage: The central large-scale stage focuses on EDM, house and live acts. It is also the main location for the festival’s major visual productions, including the opening show, Saturday ceremony and closing show.

Hardsize: Dedicated to hardstyle, rawstyle and uptempo, this stage provides a heavier alternative to the Mainstage and is aimed at visitors who prefer harder electronic sounds.

Tapuya: Tapuya focuses on hard techno, hard groove, hard bounce and hard trance. It gives the festival a dedicated home for contemporary harder techno styles.

Turbo: Turbo is centered around party hits, Malle music and party classics. Its programming provides a more playful and singalong-oriented alternative to the specialist electronic stages.

Valley of Sound: The Valley of Sound concept covers house, Afro house, deep house, soul, funk and disco. In 2026, Valley of Sound hosted its own stage across all three festival days as part of a collaboration with the Austrian Valley of Sound project.

The Thunder: This area brings rock, punk and tribute bands into the wider Electrisize programme. The 2026 version included live bands alongside karaoke, flash bingo, a morning event and rock disco.

Camp Asbach: The campsite stage focuses on tech house, deep house, house and techno, giving campers another place to continue listening to music.

Electricity Campsite Stage: The campsite also has a dedicated stage featuring EDM, hardstyle and party classics.

Stage-by-stage schedule

The detailed 2027 stage-by-stage timetable has not yet been published. Electrisize traditionally releases its detailed programme closer to the festival, allowing visitors to see which artists are playing each stage and when.

The official Electrisize app is designed to provide the timetable for all stages, together with the festival map, official playlists and push notifications for last-minute programme changes.

For planning purposes, visitors can expect the Mainstage to provide the largest EDM and house productions, Hardsize to concentrate on hardstyle and rawstyle, Tapuya to focus on harder techno sounds, and the other specialist stages to provide alternative party, house, rock and campsite programming.

The final 2027 schedule should be checked in the official app and festival timetable before each day because set times and stage assignments can change.

Set times

Official 2027 set times are not yet available. Once the timetable is published, visitors will be able to organize their day around the artists and stages they most want to see.

The daily festival operating periods already provide a useful framework. Friday runs from 16:00 until 02:00, Saturday from 14:00 until 02:00 and Sunday from 14:00 until 23:30.

Because Electrisize operates multiple stages simultaneously, visitors should allow time to walk between performance areas. The official app is particularly useful for checking changes and keeping track of the latest timetable.

Ticket types

Electrisize 2027 tickets have not yet been released for general sale. The official information currently directs visitors toward pre-registration and states that the 2027 ticket sale will follow later.

Previous Electrisize information gives an indication of the pricing structure. For 2026, published information listed day tickets from approximately $70, a full-weekend ticket from approximately $200 and VIP tickets from approximately $306. These are previous-edition reference prices and should not be treated as confirmed 2027 prices.

Camping is sold separately from the festival admission. A camping ticket is required for each person staying at the campsite, and it must be combined with a valid festival ticket.

Previous 2026 camping prices included a camping ticket from approximately $93, a Car Pass from approximately $70 and a WoMo Pass from approximately $317. These figures are useful planning references only because 2027 prices have not been announced.

VIP & premium options

Electrisize offers a premium Skydeck experience in addition to standard festival access. The Skydeck provides an elevated area with a view toward the Mainstage and includes food and drinks, premium toilets, separate entry, seating, concierge service, table service, a free locker, Wi-Fi and access to the VIP Deck.

Previous Skydeck pricing provides a useful reference for 2027 planning. The published 2026 prices were approximately $471 per person for Friday, $530 for Saturday and $353 for Sunday after conversion to USD. These were previous-edition prices and are not confirmed 2027 rates.

The Skydeck also included a parking shuttle directly to the festival, making it particularly suited to visitors who want additional comfort and a more convenient premium experience.

Event rules

Electrisize has detailed entry and safety rules that visitors should check before travelling.

Age requirements: Friday and Saturday are for visitors aged 18 and over. Sunday admission is available from age 16. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for age checks.

Food and drinks: Visitors may not bring food or drinks onto the main festival grounds. The festival provides food outlets, bars and a free drinking-water station.

Prohibited items: Weapons, objects that could be used as weapons, fireworks, pyrotechnics, animals, oversized bags and food or drinks are among the prohibited items. Security staff can make decisions regarding individual cases at the entrance.

Re-entry: Festival wristbands permit re-entry, but the organizer states that re-entry is not guaranteed and remains subject to security decisions.

Respect and awareness: Electrisize emphasizes respectful behaviour, consent, inclusion and attention to other visitors. Visitors experiencing physical or psychological difficulties can seek assistance from the DRK medical team on site.

How to get there

The festival address is Haus Hohenbusch, 41812 Erkelenz, Germany. Visitors travelling by car should enter the Haus Hohenbusch address into their navigation system and then follow the official Electrisize signs.

The nearest major transport hub for many visitors is Erkelenz. The festival has traditionally operated a shuttle connection between Erkelenz railway station and the festival site, making rail travel a practical option.

Festival bus services can also be available through dedicated festival transport providers. The organizer’s 2026 travel information specifically recommended the shuttle bus from Erkelenz station and also mentioned direct festival buses operated by Hardtours.

Visitors arriving by bicycle can use free bicycle parking near the festival entrance. The organizer advises against walking to the festival because of the traffic conditions around the event.

Public transport & parking

Shuttle bus: The festival shuttle connecting Erkelenz railway station with the festival grounds was recommended by the organizer for the 2026 edition. The service operated around the festival opening hours and is expected to remain an important transport option, subject to the final 2027 timetable.

Train: Travel by train to Erkelenz and continue by festival shuttle. This option can reduce the need to find parking and is particularly useful for visitors staying elsewhere in the region.

Car parking: Electrisize has dedicated visitor parking. Previous 2026 parking prices were approximately $24 for a day parking ticket and $35 for a full-weekend parking option. These are previous-edition reference prices and may change for 2027.

Kiss & Ride: Visitors being dropped off or collected by car should use the designated Kiss & Ride area. The organizer asks visitors not to use other stopping locations around the festival.

Camping by car: Car Camping allows visitors to take their car onto the camping area. One Car Pass is required per vehicle, while every camper also needs an individual camping ticket.

Accommodation areas

Camping is one of the main accommodation choices for Electrisize visitors. The 2027 campsite will operate for four nights, from Thursday through Monday, giving visitors the opportunity to stay close to the festival throughout the weekend.

Regular camping: Standard camping provides access to the dedicated campsite with showers, sanitary facilities, paved paths and short distances to the festival entrance.

Car Camping: Car Camping provides a designated area for the vehicle and tents. The official information states that one Car Pass provides space for approximately three to five people, although each camper still requires a separate camping ticket.

WoMo Camping: Visitors arriving in motorhomes, caravans or similar vehicles can use the WoMo option. A WoMo Pass provides a larger pitch for approximately six to ten people and includes a 16A/230V electrical connection within a specified distance.

Erkelenz: Visitors who prefer hotels or guest accommodation can stay in Erkelenz and use local transport or festival shuttles where available. Staying in the wider region can also work for visitors who do not want to camp.

Food & drink

Food is an important part of the Electrisize festival site. The main Foodcourt offers options such as pizza, panini and burgers, together with fruit, cold drinks and vegan choices including bowls. Seating is available for visitors who want a break between performances.

The Pülleken Biergarten provides a dedicated place to sit and enjoy drinks within the festival grounds. Bars are also available across the site.

Visitors should remember that bringing their own food and drinks onto the main festival grounds is prohibited. A free drinking-water station is available on the festival site.

The campsite operates differently, with visitors able to consume their own food and drinks in the camping area. The campsite also has a 24-hour supermarket offering food and camping essentials.

Accessibility

Electrisize aims to make the festival site as accessible as possible. The official information states that visitors with disabilities can attend and that accessible toilets are available on the festival grounds.

Visitors requiring an accompanying person may be eligible for a free companion ticket when they hold the required disability identification with the relevant markings. The visitor and companion should arrive together at the entrance with the appropriate documentation and festival ticket.

The DRK medical team is available on the festival grounds for visitors who become unwell or need assistance. Visitors experiencing problems related to heat, circulation, anxiety or other difficulties can contact the medical team at the medical tent or while moving around the site.

For specific accessibility requirements, visitors should contact the festival directly before attending.

Best days to attend

Friday: Friday is a strong choice for visitors who want to experience the beginning of the festival weekend. The festival opens at 16:00 and runs until 02:00, with the Opening Show and fireworks providing one of the main programmed highlights.

Saturday: Saturday provides the longest festival day, running from 14:00 until 02:00. It is also traditionally associated with the major Ceremony around sunset, featuring laser and fireworks effects at the Mainstage.

Sunday: Sunday runs from 14:00 until 23:30 and provides a shorter final day. The Closing Show at the Mainstage is designed as the final shared festival moment before visitors leave.

For visitors who want the complete Electrisize experience, a weekend ticket combined with camping allows access to all three days and the wider campsite programme.

Previous year’s highlights

Electrisize has expanded steadily over recent years. Official history records 45,000 visitors and 120 artists across five stages in 2024, followed by 50,000 visitors and 150 artists across seven or more stages in 2025. The 2026 edition reached 55,000 visitors, with more than 150 artists and more than eight stages.

The 2025 programme included major electronic and hardstyle names such as Brennan Heart, Coone, Da Tweekaz, Miss K8, Paul Elstak, Ran-D and Rooler, alongside artists from EDM, techno, party and crossover styles.

The 2026 festival expanded its range of festival experiences with Mainstage EDM and house, Hardsize hardstyle, Tapuya hard techno, Turbo party classics, Valley of Sound house and Afro house, The Thunder rock programming, Camp Asbach and the Electricity Campsite Stage.

The 2026 site also introduced or featured additional experiences including The Source wellness area, the Hangout Village chill-out area, the Foodcourt, Pülleken Biergarten and a Ferris wheel overlooking the festival grounds.

The festival’s three major shows were another central feature: the Friday Opening Show with fireworks, the Saturday Ceremony with laser and fireworks, and the Sunday Closing Show.

Official tickets

Electrisize 2027 tickets are not yet available for general sale. The official festival information currently directs visitors to the 2027 pre-registration system, while the ticket section confirms that the official ticket release will follow.

Previous ticket information indicates that Electrisize offers day tickets, weekend admission, VIP options and separate camping products. Camping is not included automatically with the festival ticket, so visitors intending to stay at the campsite need to purchase the appropriate camping ticket as well.

Official ticket payments can be made through methods including PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, bank transfer and installment payment options, subject to the terms of the ticket provider.

For general festival enquiries, the official contact email is family@electrisize.de. Ticket-specific problems are handled through the festival’s ticketing provider, while general questions can also be sent to info@electrisize.de.
